Detta var en läsvärd bok! America och Prince Maxons kemi gjorde hela boken. Boken utspelar sig i framtiden där inte bara tredje världskriget bröt ut, utan även fjärde. Ett nytt land bildades och kastsystemet infördes, vilket är en spännande vinkel på hur vår framtidssyn ser ut. I The Selection möter man orättvisa, kärlek och uppoffringar. Den är mysig, fin, lite små rolig och rätt spännande! Väntar på uppföljaren som kommer ut 2013...
Något att glädjas åt är att denna bokserie förmodligen kommer bli TV serie (om jag har fattat rätt), där Aimee Teegarden, William Moseley och Ethan Peck har leadrollerna.

Detta verkar vara en bok som man antingen gillar eller inte gillar. Jag gillade den. Mycket. Om man är ute efter att läsa en kärleksbok så kanske inte denna är det bästa valet. Visst finns det kärlek, men den är tyst och långsamt gående, vilket jag tyckte var fint. Vad jag tycker vad så bra i denna bok var dystopidelen. Det var så spännande att läsa hur the Society hade valt att styra landet. De styrde över allt. De berättar om de forna dagarna då människor fick läsa och spela vad de ville, och att det hade blivit för mycket för människorna. The Society hade då valt ut 100 dikter, 100 böcker, 100 låtar osv. som befolkningen fick läsa. Alltså en tydlig censur. Det vackra i boken var då hur huvudkaraktären Cassia värdesatte de dikter hon lyckats komma över. Det var nog det som fick mig att gilla boken så mycket. Den var så vacker! Fast samtidig hemsk och spännande.
Jag tycker att denna ska läsas!

Jag blev lite besviken, men å andra sidan så var den rätt underhållande. Läs den och bestäm själv!

Legend och Enclave
I jul köpte jag fyra st dystopier till mig själv. Jag har nu läst ut dessa två. Legend av Marie Lu och Enclave av Ann Aguirre. Jag gillade båda väldigt mycket!

It looks out of place up there. Most of the pictures on the screens are of happy things: smiling children standing under a bright blue sky, tourists posing before the Golden Gate Ruins, Republic commercials in neon colors. there´s also anti-Colonies propaganda. "The Colonies want our land," the ads declare. "They want what they don´t have. Don´t let them conquer your homes! Support the cause!" Then there´s my criminal report. It lights up the JumboTrons in all its multicolored glory:

Detta är en härlig dystopi. Den var verkligen spännande! Hoppas ni läser den!

By that point, eachunnamed ‘brat’ has trained into one of three groups–Breeders, Builders, or Hunters, identifiable by the number of scars they bear on their arms. Deuce has wanted to be a Huntress for as long as she can remember.
As a Huntress, her purpose is clear—to brave the dangerous tunnels outside the enclave and bring back meat to feed the group while evading ferocious monsters known as Freaks. She’s worked toward this goal her whole life, and nothing’s going to stop her, not even a beautiful, brooding Hunter named Fade. When the mysterious boy becomes her partner, Deuce’s troubles are just beginning.
Även detta var en härlig dystopi. Det som jag gillade extra mycket med denna bok var när man försöker klura ut hur världen ska se ut. Man vet att det är i framtiden. Men ändå har så mycket vetenskap gått förlorad. Deuces folk blir max 25-26 år, då är de gamla och dör. Varför är det så? Hur kommer det sig att de lever nere i tunnlarna? Vilka är dessa "Freaks" som jagar dem och äter deras invånare? LÄS DEN.

En dystopi (även kallad anti-utopi eller kakotopi) är en negativ samhällsvision. Det är motsatsen till utopi. Ordet kommer från grekiskans δυσ- och τόπος, som sammansatt betyder ”dålig plats”.
